Just remember to search for the {{ powered_by_link }} variable in your theme.
Additionally, keep the footer.liquid file open until you’ve verified your changes in another tab. That way, if you accidentally deleted something that broke your theme you can quickly CMD+Z or Ctrl+Z to undo your changes, save, and revert back to before.
